Vafadar

Terms of use

The agreement for using Vafadar, a record-keeping app for your cats and dogs.

Last updated 28 October 2026. [[AHRAR: this is a draft for review; delete this mark once the text is reviewed]]

The service

These terms are an agreement between you and [[AHRAR: legal name or trading name, e.g. "Hoppr" and its owner]] ("we") for the Vafadar app and this website. Vafadar is a record-keeping tool: it keeps the records, reminders and care log you enter for your cats and dogs, shares them with the people you choose, and reminds you when something is due. By using Vafadar you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

Not medical advice

Vafadar stores records you enter. It does not give medical advice. Always consult your vet.

Vafadar is not an official pet passport or veterinary record.

Vafadar never interprets your records. It is not accepted as proof of vaccination, for travel, boarding, licensing or import. Keep your vet's own documents for those. Reminders depend on your phone and its settings and can be late or missed, so do not rely on Vafadar alone for a dose or treatment that matters.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. Vafadar is not designed for children, and we will delete an account we learn belongs to a child. You sign in with a code sent to your email address: keep that mailbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

Your records

What you enter is yours. You give us permission to store, copy and show it only as needed to run Vafadar for you: syncing it to your phones and household, showing it on share links and PDFs you create, and keeping backups. You are responsible for what you enter, and for having permission to store other people's details, such as emergency contacts. You can export your data at any time, and delete it or your account at any time.

Households and links

Members of a household see its pets and records, with the role the owner gives them. If you own a household that others share and you delete your account, that household and its pets are deleted for everyone unless you first transfer ownership. A share link shows what you chose to anyone who has it, until it expires or you turn it off; send it only to people you trust.

Fair use

Do not use Vafadar to break the law, to store content you have no right to, to harass anyone, or to attack, overload, probe or copy the service or other people's data. We may limit, suspend or close an account that does, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Price

Vafadar is free to use today, with no ads. If we add paid features, we will tell you before anything is charged, and you will always be able to export your records for free.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Vafadar available and your data safe, but we provide it "as is": it may sometimes be unavailable, and we do not promise it is free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions about your pet's care made on the strength of the app. [[AHRAR: liability cap and consumer-law wording, reviewed by a lawyer]] Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Vafadar and delete your account at any time, in the app (More, then Account, then Delete account) or on our deletion page. We may end the service with reasonable notice, and we will give you time to export your records first.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by [[AHRAR: governing law and courts (05 L-02 suggests Malaysia)]]. If we change them in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change applies. Questions: support@hoppr.online.
